snapped this pic a couple of weeks ago (dec 31 actually) with cb in the car..... this is the world famous club "first avenue"; featured in the movie purple rain and home to about the best damn rock-n-roll experience in all of minneapolis.

i have always wished that as a young music afficiando, i would have kept all the ticket stubs to the various concerts i've been too - i think it would have been cool to be able to sit and reflect on what was once done... alas, i never kept ticket stubs for more than a couple of weeks so my recollection of who i've seen in this humble building is less than complete. but suffice to say, some of the greatest moments of music i've ever seen live, have been in first ave.
